    @damianson Actually movies recorded on film can be scanned at 4k which is 4096 horizontal pixels. Most high-end digital movie cameras can and will record higher than 1080p. The real limitation is you can only buy movies at 1080p, but just give it a couple years for TVs to catch up. By the way, when that does happen I’m sure there will be a better (optical based) cable.

    connect a aspire 5315,
    whit acer connected , turnoff the laptop, an then turn off the TV, disconnect the vga cable fron laptop.
    on the TV, an vuala, the TV is broke, i broke 2 lcd tv, with this simples steps, dont buy shit from toshiba, spend more money and get a sony bravia
