@damianson Actually movies recorded on film can be scanned at 4k which is 4096 horizontal pixels. Most high-end digital movie cameras can and will record higher than 1080p. The real limitation is you can only buy movies at 1080p, but just give it a couple years for TVs to catch up. By the way, when that does happen I’m sure there will be a better (optical based) cable.
Have you guys seen that new 3d LED samsung, which has like 15 milllion : 1 contrast, its crazy! I wonder how it would look if avatar releases a 3d blu ray version of it.

on the TV, an vuala, the TV is broke, i broke 2 lcd tv, with this simples steps, dont buy shit from toshiba, spend more money and get a sony bravia
